![]() My reasoning was that through the online store available on the PlayStation 3 console you can download tracks for about $2 each, and the likelihood that I would choose even half of the 30 songs on the disc wasn’t strong enough to justify the MSRP for the disc. ![]() 2 that one thing I disliked was how diverse the disc was in song selection. If you’re a regular reader of Digital Chumps, you’ll read that just a couple days ago I wrote in a review for SingStar Vol. With tracks ranging from the screaming dark power chords of Kurt Cobain’s band Nirvana performing their now infamous “Smells like Teen Spirit” to the happier and universally recognizable Motown sounds of Marvin Gaye singing his classic “What’s Goin’ On?”, Legends has a little something for everyone. Featuring 30 classic tracks, Legends takes a very diverse walk through modern music history. Thankfully, the SingStar karaoke series for the PlayStation 2 has made that a little bit easier with their new release, “SingStar Legends”. For most of us, legends are the people that we can only pretend to be.
